2023 Bird Drawings
2023 was a busy year in the studio. I rendered roughly 45 bird/nest pieces. Some “slow art” ink drawings, large and serious, others in acrylic that have expressive color and brush work. 2 styles I like to bounce between and hoping to continue to grow with each. Also some experements in mineral watercolors on some conceptual “bird-like” concepts I am sharing mid-progression. Not sure those will continue or if I’ll come back to those later. It will be fun to look at back at the end of 2024 to see the path.
