Jodi and I are really enjoying our collaboration through ceramics. Her vessel forms range in shapes but have a consistent feel to them. Her signature decoration is a green spruce tree on a white mug glazed over light earth brown spotted clay. They are beautiful. She has been throwing a lot of shapes for me with white clay. I’m applying my art and illustration ideas and themes to these. Color schemes have been ranging from my signature black and white, but expanding with reds, yellow and blue. Similar to when I apply ink wash color to my black and white art.
