A roughly 16 ounce white ceramic mug in our bird series featuring 2 black crows on a branch with a red sun. This vessel is thrown by my partner, Jodi then trimmed with a handle added. Once leather hard, I underglaze the clay with jet black and red and carve the design through and around the painted shape, then low fired. Next, a clear glossy coat is applied over the illustration and natural white clay leaving a nice finished coat. All ceramic shapes are food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
