16 oz white ceramic mug with koi illustration, hand carved and painted. Vessel shape throwing by my partner, Jodi. Blue, red underglazes are applied used on greenware then lines are carved into the clay by hand. After firing, the form is then clear glazed revealing the white of the natural clay with a beautiful carved illustration over the top. Jodi’s signature stamp is pressed into the bottom of the form “Jodi & The Tree.” All ceramic shapes are dishwasher, microwave and food safe.
