Artist Note: A 3 part series focusing on large birds and their hunting rituals. Wood Storks, family Ciconiidae are quite large. Long legs that fly slow with their long broad wings. They behave like hawks circling looking for prey. This scan does not quite capture the vibrant yellow ink used in the drawing you’ll see in person.
