A 3 part series focusing on large birds and their hunting rituals. Anhinga’s are a Darter. Long and slim, their neck and sharply pointed bill make ideal spear fishing anatomy. The scan of the original art does not quite capture the glow of the yellow seen in person. The paper is a cream color creating an overall mood with the subject. Black ink is casually used either heavy or soft to create textures all rendered with the smallest of nib.
